Internships and Volunteering
Semester-long and summer internships are available to anyone who is interested in helping to establish a grassroots healthcare organization in coastal Kenya. Illinois Wesleyan University students can apply through the Action Research Center. The internships offer undergraduate students the opportunity to learn about the establishment and development of an international NGO and how connections are made between international donors, volunteers and supporters, and local Lamu residents.
