UPDATES
This summer (2011) has been another very productive one for LCPH. With the help of our summer intern, Erick Henderson, our clinical service reached over 500 people within the Lamu community during the month of July. We are currently offering services
in the clinic on a full-time basis, we continue to serve Lamu residents all year round!
As part of our continuing preventative health initiative, we offer free hypertension and blood glucose screening, HIV/AIDS screening, and one-on-one education on a range of healthcare issues.
We are working to provide a nutrition education program to Lamu youth, CPR training and other preventative services such as Malaria screening.
Warm thanks to the donors and volunteers who are helping us achieve these goals.
